An Example

Here's an example of how Maintenance Reminder works:

You last changed the oil on your 2002 Chevy Avalanche on July 6 and your odometer read 72,000 miles. Because you entered that you normally drive about 12,500 a year and you prefer to change the oil every 3,000 miles or five months, the Maintenance Reminder has calculated you are due for an oil change on October 20. The Maintenance Reminder would then send you an e-mail reminder on that day.
