ACDelco Accumulators/Driers
Constructed of aluminum to help prevent corrosion, ACDelco Accumulators/Driers are lightweight and easy to handle. The XH7 molecular sieve provides complete moisture control, while the compressor is lubricated by a calibrated oil return outlet tube. Plus, each unit is leak– and pressure–tested under stringent controls.
Other features:
- Internal baffle deflects liquid refrigerant to the bottom of the unit
- Orifice at bottom bend of outlet tube allows a calibrated amount of oil in refrigerant for compressor lubrication
- All tubing is contained within unit body
Note: It is recommended that the unit be replaced whenever the compressor is serviced or replaced on vehicles over five years old.
