ACDelco Remanufactured Starters and Alternators for Light-Duty and Medium-Duty Applications

ACDelco offers two lines of starters and alternators:

  • ACDelco original equipment remanufactured starters and alternators for GM vehicles, approved by GM as warranty replacement parts and OE quality for the life of your vehicle. See Original Equipment Starters and Alternators.
  • A line of remanufactured starters and alternators with a limited lifetime warranty for both GM (non warranty) and non-GM vehicles. See Starters and Alternators.

ACDelco remanufactured alternators and starters are available for most vehicles on the road today with more than 3,200 part numbers. Features include:

  • Remanufactured – units are remanufactured to stringent specifications, not rebuilt.
  • Replacement – ACDelco replaces the parts of its remanufactured units that are most subject to wear and failure with new components.
  • Testing – 100 percent of ACDelco Starters and Alternators are tested after remanufacture. Performance and reliability testing includes sound room tests, vibration tests, and exposure to hot and cold rooms. Remanufacturing in ISO-9001 and QS-9000 registered facilities with quality systems that help make sure that our starters and alternators will consistently satisfy customer requirements.
  • Quality – Units are remanufactured on a first-class assembly line that features standardized and consistent procedures
