ACDelco monitors product quality throughout the remanufacturing process to provide the highest quality product in today's competitive market. Using Failure Mode Analysis (FMA), ACDelco corrects problems before they occur. This means replacement of not only the failed components, but also replacement of many other components with high failure rates, often making the remanufactured unit more reliable than a new unit. Product Testing

ACDelco employs Statistical Process Control (SPC) throughout the remaufacturing process to monitor and adjust build quality. As a part of this SPC program, ACDelco requires that all finished alternators and starters, as well as component parts such as starters, rotors, armatures and regulators, be tested under simulated operating conditions. This ensures that all our products deliver the expected performance under the same kinds of conditions they are subjected to during actual vehicle operation.
